Find images without reopening every chat
A travel moodboard can span several conversations. Image Gallery brings images from your synchronized chats into one view, so you can search for beach and recover the visual ideas together. Search includes images and their prompts; category filters help separate generated images, uploads and charts.
Keep a shortlist of useful images
Save an image with its heart button, or select several images and add them to favorites together. Advanced filters also let you narrow the gallery by folder and date. In the demo, three beach illustrations are selected for a ZIP download.
Download your selection as a ZIP
Use each image’s checkbox to build a selection, then choose Download selected ZIP. The demo selects three beach images and shows the preparation and download confirmation. It illustrates the result without starting a real download. For a single image, open its preview and choose Download image.
Recover the prompt and context
Open a thumbnail to see a larger preview, its source conversation and the prompt when available. Copy the prompt to reuse the idea, or return to the original chat for context. Enable Chat archive and finish synchronization before using Image Gallery; unavailable images cannot be recovered by the gallery.
About Image Gallery
How do I open Image Gallery in ChatGPT?
With Power access, enable Chat archive in Advanced and wait for synchronization, then enable Image Gallery in Toolbox. Open Image Gallery from the ChatGPT sidebar. If you use StylerGPT’s sidebar panel, Chat archive is under Settings. The demo starts with the archive already synchronized.
Which images appear in the gallery?
Image Gallery includes generated images, uploaded images and charts found in synchronized conversations for your current ChatGPT account. Images from chats that have not finished synchronizing may appear later. Some images may no longer be available.
How can I find a particular image?
Search images and prompts, then use Generated, Uploaded or Charts to narrow the results. Favorites shows saved images. Advanced adds folder and date filters. The Favorites filter appears once you have saved at least one favorite.
Can I see the prompt and original conversation?
Yes. Click a thumbnail to open its preview and details. When a prompt is available, you can read and copy it. Open conversation returns to the source chat. You can also favorite or download the image from its details.
Can I download several ChatGPT images at once?
Yes. Use the checkboxes to select images and choose Download selected ZIP. The gallery prepares one archive with the selected images. You can also download an individual image from its preview. Downloads in this automatic demo are simulated.
What happens if an image is unavailable?
The gallery marks images that can no longer be loaded. If a selected image cannot be downloaded, it reports the failure without saving an incomplete ZIP. You can change the selection and try again.
