By downloading, installing, and/or utilizing the browser extensions, the Client is bound to the `Terms and conditions`` outlined in this Agreement. If the Client objects to any aspect of this Agreement, they cannot use the Service.
The Provider reserves the right to change these practices, and any changes will be prominently displayed on our website. It is recommended that the Client regularly reviews the privacy policy when visiting our site to ensure a clear understanding of how their information will be used.
Data Collection and Usage
Device Identifier
When you install the browser extension, it creates a random device identifier stored locally. This identifier is used solely for:
- Managing license activation and usage limits
- Preventing abuse and ensuring fair usage of our services
This device identifier is not linked to your personal information.
Free Trial Identifier (Hashed Email)
When you are signed in to ChatGPT, the extension reads your account email from ChatGPT's page data only to verify free trial eligibility. The email is immediately transformed in your browser into a one-way cryptographic hash (HMAC-SHA-256). Only this hash is stored in the extension and sent to our servers to check or activate the trial.
The hash cannot be reversed to your email and cannot be decrypted. We do not store or transmit the raw email. It is kept only for trial verification, so you will never receive communications at that email address.
PDF Export (Local)
When you use the PDF export feature to print ChatGPT conversations, the following process occurs:
- The conversation content is processed locally in your browser to generate a PDF document
- The PDF is saved directly to your device
- No conversation content or identifiers are transmitted to our servers for PDF generation
No conversation content is stored, logged, or retained by us for PDF generation because it never leaves your device.
Other Data Collection
We do not collect your IP address, browser information, or any information about your computer's operating system beyond what is necessary for the services described above.
In the future, we may collect anonymous statistics regarding the usage of the browser extension, such as the frequency of feature usage and other related activities within the extension. These statistics would be used to enhance our service and produce reports on aggregate usage patterns.
Permissions and access required by the extension
Some optional features request extra permissions or site access only when you enable them. You can deny these requests and still use the core extension.
- Clipboard access (clipboardRead): Needed for Clipboard History so the extension can read the current clipboard text and let you reinsert recent copies into ChatGPT.
- YouTube site access (*.youtube.com): Needed for YouTube Summarizer to run on YouTube pages, add the summarizer button, and read video transcripts and metadata to build the summary.
- Sora sites access (*.sora.com, sora.chatgpt.com): Needed to apply StylerGPT themes, colors, and fonts on Sora when you enable Sora customization features.
- GitHub raw content access (raw.githubusercontent.com): Needed by PDF Export to download the open-source Noto fonts from the https://github.com/notofonts/noto-fonts project so non-Latin characters render correctly in exported PDFs.
