Shape the prompt before you ask for the answer
Start with the task you already have
A draft like “Help me plan a workshop to improve our customer onboarding” has a goal, but leaves the audience, evidence and format open. Prompt enhancer helps turn that starting point into instructions ChatGPT can follow. Write in the composer and use the sparkle icon before sending.
Fill in the details through guided questions
In Interactive mode, answer only the questions relevant to your draft. This example specifies the workshop goal, participants, source material, session format and output. Selecting Other adds a custom constraint: a remote session lasting 60 minutes. You can combine choices and add notes without rewriting the whole prompt.
Review the rewrite, then decide what to use
The demo compares the short original with a structured prompt that includes the selected details, placeholders for missing source material and clear instructions for the final answer. The real review window lets you edit the enhanced version or keep your original. Apply puts the reviewed prompt in the composer, ready for your next message.
Use a repeatable template when the context is clear
For drafts that already contain the important details, Static mode uses your saved instruction template without a questionnaire. Open Prompt enhancer Settings in Toolbox to choose a default mode or customize the static template. Keep Choose each time if you prefer to decide for each draft.

How do I use Prompt Enhancer in ChatGPT?
Install StylerGPT and sign in to ChatGPT. Check that Prompt enhancer is enabled in Toolbox, write a draft in the ChatGPT message box, and click the sparkle icon. With the default Choose each time setting, select Static or Interactive. The demo shows Interactive and review before applying.
What is the difference between Static and Interactive?
Static rewrites your draft using a reusable instruction template. Interactive asks a batch of two to five questions about the details that would materially improve your prompt, then uses your answers to create the rewrite. Broad planning tasks typically use five questions, as shown in the demo. Questions and results vary with your draft.
Can I choose more than one answer or write my own?
Yes. Each question supports multiple selections and an optional notes field. Select Other to add your own answer; written details are required when Other is selected. Use Back to revisit an earlier question before selecting Generate on the last one.
Can I review or edit the enhanced prompt before applying it?
Yes. Review before applying is enabled by default. It shows the original draft alongside an editable enhanced prompt. Choose Apply to place your reviewed text in the composer, or Keep original to keep your draft. You can change this review preference in Prompt enhancer settings.
Does Prompt Enhancer send the final prompt to my chat?
Apply replaces the text in your composer; it does not submit the improved prompt as a message in your current conversation. Review it and send it when you are ready. The enhancement itself uses a temporary background ChatGPT session, so it requires ChatGPT access and is not an offline rewrite.
Can I customize the template and preserve my prompt’s language?
In Toolbox, open Prompt enhancer Settings and select Static to edit the instruction template. Keep the {{INPUT_PROMPT}} placeholder so your draft can be inserted. The default template and Interactive flow instruct ChatGPT to preserve your intent, language, code, placeholders and constraints. Review the generated text to confirm it matches your request.
Which plans include Prompt Enhancer?
Free includes three successful enhancements per local calendar month, Pro includes five, and Power includes unlimited enhancements. The allowance resets at the start of the next local calendar month. ChatGPT’s own availability and usage limits still apply.
