Add a message during a response
Suppose ChatGPT is reviewing customer interview notes. You already know you will need a summary and a launch checklist. Type each follow-up in the regular message box while the response continues. The send control becomes Add to queue, and the pending messages appear above the composer.
Review the order before sending
Drag a waiting message to move it above another while the queue stays active. In the demo, the summary moves ahead of the checklist before either follow-up sends. You can also edit or remove a waiting message.

Prompt Queue waits until ChatGPT finishes the current answer and the composer is clear. It then submits the next message and waits for that answer before continuing. Each conversation keeps a separate local queue, so follow-ups from one chat do not spill into another.

How do I add a message to Prompt Queue?
Open StylerGPT on ChatGPT and make sure Prompt queue is enabled in Toolbox. While ChatGPT is responding, type a message in the composer and use its send control. StylerGPT adds the text to the queue instead of interrupting the response. Further messages join the same conversation's queue.
When does Prompt Queue send the next message?
The next queued message is sent after the current ChatGPT response finishes, provided the queue is resumed and the composer is empty. It waits for each subsequent response before sending another queued message. A draft or attachment in the composer can pause sending so it is not overwritten.
Can I change queued messages before they send?
Yes. The list above the composer has controls to pause or resume, remove or edit a message, and drag a message to change its order. You can also use the reorder control with the keyboard. Editing places that message back in the composer for revision and saves the revised text to the queue.
Are queues shared across conversations?
No. Each conversation has its own queue. Messages are kept locally in this browser. A queue recovered after a reload stays paused until you review it and choose to resume; temporary chat queues are not carried over like regular conversation queues.
Does the demo send anything to ChatGPT?
No. The demonstration uses fictional customer interview notes and simulates the composer, queue, and resulting conversation. In the actual extension, queued messages are submitted to ChatGPT when their turn arrives, subject to any enabled pre-send checks.
