Your code, in familiar colors
Give technical answers a look that works for you
Follow the syntax at a glance
When you review a function, compare examples or work through a debugging answer, syntax colors help distinguish keywords, strings and numbers. Code Block Themes pairs those colors with a matching code background. The demo uses a JavaScript release-summary helper so you can compare the same answer before and after the change.
Preview, choose and keep reading
Open Code blocks in StylerGPT to browse the catalog beside the current preview. Select a tile and its colors apply immediately. In this demo, Solarized Light gives the light-mode code block a warm background; Dracula brings a dark surface and distinct syntax colors to dark mode. Close the panel to return to your conversation.
A separate choice for each mode
Your light and dark selections are saved independently. Code block styling can be adjusted on its own, alongside your other workspace settings. If you want to return to the default appearance, choose Default in the catalog or Restore default under the preview for the current mode.
About Code Block Themes
How do I change the code block theme in ChatGPT?
Open StylerGPT while you are on ChatGPT and choose Code blocks. In the modal panel, the current preview and theme catalog appear side by side. Select a theme tile to apply it immediately. The demo uses the pinned extension icon to open the simulated modal; your actual opening behavior depends on your panel settings.
Can I use different syntax themes in light and dark mode?
Yes. StylerGPT stores your light and dark code block choices separately and shows the catalog for the current mode. This demo selects Solarized Light in light mode and Dracula in dark mode. Switch the website’s appearance to see the other sequence.
Does a code block theme change the code or the whole chat?
It changes the appearance of supported code blocks, including the background, text and syntax colors. It does not rewrite or execute the code. You can choose a code block theme independently of the workspace palette, wallpaper and chat font.
How do I restore the default code block appearance?
Choose Default in the code block catalog or use Restore default below the current preview. This resets the code block theme for the current light or dark mode, leaving your choice for the other mode in place.
What do I need to use Code Block Themes?
You need the StylerGPT browser extension and access to its premium appearance features. Open a ChatGPT conversation containing a code block to see the effect. The feature styles supported ChatGPT code blocks; it is not a code editor or a theme for external development tools.
